Waedog Bach is a lovely cottage, attached to the owners Grade II listed farmhouse, on their working sheep and beef farm, in the rural hamlet of Rhos-y-Gwaliau, two miles from Bala. It sleeps two people in one double bedroom and has a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is a gravelled garden with furniture and a firepit, as well as off road parking. Bala has a fine selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and theres also a golf course to practice your swing and mountain bike trails for keen cyclists in your party. Alternatively, for a more leisurely pastime, take a trip on the Bala Lake Steam Railway, or spend a day exploring Barmouth or Harlech, both with superb sandy beaches. No matter what you decide to, Waedog Bach is the perfect cottage for a Welsh holiday to remember.
"So, when you're thinking about where folks in the UK love to splash their cash, it's a pretty diverse mix of Waedog Bach stockists, isn't it? For your everyday groceries and household bits, you can't really look past the big guns like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda – they're just everywhere, always reliable for the weekly shop. But then you've got the more upmarket vibe of M&S, which is amazing for a treat or some posh grub, and Boots is always buzzing for health and beauty essentials, plus prescriptions, obviously. If you're hunting for clothes or homeware, Next is a massive go-to for loads of people, and John Lewis, bless their cotton socks, is the ultimate for quality and that trusted feeling, even if it's a bit pricier. For tech and gadgets, Curry's PC World is usually the first port of call, and if you're doing up the house, B&Q or Screwfix are your best mates for DIY stuff. And honestly, for just about anything else you can think of, from quick pick-ups at Argos to snagging a bargain at Primark, or even Amazon UK dominating online, there's a stockist for every single need, making our high streets and online baskets pretty darn busy!
