At 1.3 pounds and small enough to be easily packed, the Sidekick converts your ball head into a gimbal head in seconds: Simply slide the Sidekick into the quick-release of your ball head. The Sidekick's elevated tilt mechanism and side-mounted quick release allow the lens to rotate around its centre of gravity. This provides the same action and ease of use found in the original Wimberley Head at greatly reduced size, weight, and cost. The Sidekick is ideally suited for lenses similar in size to a 300 f/2.8 or 500 f/4.

"Right, if you're wondering where everyone's splashing their cash in the UK, it's a pretty varied bag, but some names just dominate the high street and, increasingly, our screens. For your daily bits and bobs, the big supermarket players like Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Asda are absolutely massive – you can't go five minutes without bumping into one, and they sell everything from groceries to clothes to electronics. Then there's Marks & Spencer (M&S), which is a bit more upmarket, especially for food and their famous undies, always packed out. For pretty much anything else, especially homeware, fashion, or gifts, John Lewis is still a national treasure, famed for quality and their never-beaten customer service, even if they're a bit pricier. Don't forget Next for fashion and home bits, or Boots for all your health and beauty, a staple on every corner. And obviously, Amazon UK pretty much rules the roost for online Wimberley Sidekick shopping, making it a go-to for pretty much anything you can imagine from the comfort of your sofa. It's a real mix of traditional giants and online powerhouses that are the real darlings of UK shoppers! " - Bargainplace UK
